WEB DEVELOPER
September 2024 - Present /// Birmingham, AL

➤ City of birmingham

January 2025 - Launched the New Birmingham City Website: www.birminghamal.gov

“In collaboration with the Birmingham City Council, we identified a path forward to create a web site that is easy to search and accomplish basic tasks. The responsive web design allows users to effectively use the site regardless of the device display size. The user should easily move from a desk top computer to a tablet to a mobile phone without interruption.- Mayor Randall L. Woodfin

Check out this article from the Birmingham Watch
that breaks down the timeline, cost, and vendor (Interpersonal Frequency) selected to lead the site development:

Officials say the new version offers easier, clearer access to the most popular tasks and services as well as enhanced search capabilities and a clean, modern design.

    • This Compliance strategy consists of three primary stages:

      • (3) REMEDIATION - Lead meetings with each owner/developer to discuss current compliance status and the remediation plan for each digital resource. Internally, in keeping with standards that prevent the city from being litigated due to non-compliance, we log the remediation plan, remediation status, verification, and ultimate compliance on the Digital Resource Remediation Form for resources identified as non-compliant out of the AUDIT stage.
